Holiday Gift Guide ~ Travalo: Take Your Favorite Perfume ANYWHERE! (Review & Giveaway...Open Worldwide)

With the holidays right around the corner, I'm sure most of you might have travel plans. Whether it is travelling to a different state or even country, or just across town we all have places to go and people to see when it comes to this time of year. Our family traveled the week before Thanksgiving and one of my biggest complaints about packing for trips is the fact that my all time favorite perfume bottle is HUGE and doesn't fit well into my suitcase. This has always been a problem so I usually end up taking something else...or nothing at all. When shopping for travel sized containers, it is always easy to find the small bottles for shampoo and body wash and even for baby wipes! But no one seems to have an easy solution for easily taking your perfume with you when you travel...until now!

Travalo is a company that makes...drum roll please...Refillable Perfume Bottles that are TRAVEL SIZE!!! I have heard about Travalo before but had never looked into them. I am kicking myself now because I wish I had one for all those trips I have taken with no perfume! Today, I am going to show you how Travalo works and how you can get one (or two, or three...) for yourself or for someone on your Christmas list! Here is a little more information about this fantastic company...

When I contacted Travalo about being featured in my Holiday Gift Guide, I was thrilled when they agreed to work with me! I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to experience this product first hand.

So, for this review I was sent two Travalo Perfume Bottles. One is a darker pink color and the other is gold. These bottles are about 3 inches tall and have no sharp corners on them, making them easy to slip into a pocket, purse or carry-on.

My first question was where to find directions on how to use this product. My worries were quickly eased when I opened the carrying case and found the (2 step...so easy!) directions neatly printed on a small piece of paper, nestled around the Travalo.

My next question was "is it as easy to fill as it looks?" That question was also quickly answered. There are two ends to the bottle. One end is the sprayer, where you would pump and apply the perfume. The other end has a special refill opening that you press onto the perfume bottle to transfer the perfume from one container to the other.

So, to fill the Travalo all you do is remove the spray cap on your perfume bottle. Keeping your perfume bottle on a flat surface is important, as is keeping the cap on the Travalo. This will keep you from spraying yourself while pumping the perfume into the Travalo. Next, just pump the Travalo and watch the perfume fill through the window! It could not be any easier. I had NO issues at all with this and was actually quite impressed with how simple and quickly this was done.

Once filled, your perfume is ready to use...anytime, anywhere! Take it with you to your Holiday parties and get-togethers. Make the other ladies jealous when you are in the powder room freshening up and pull out this tiny perfume bottle...filled with your favorite perfume!

A Travalo will give you 50-65 sprays and range in prices from about $12.00 to $25.60...depending on the size and style you want.
