From the time I was a teenager, I began to wear skirts exclusively. I do not own a pair of jeans, Capris or shorts...I just wear skirts all year long and I LOVE IT. :) To me, skirts really make a woman look like a lady and I truly feel that women look so much more feminine in skirts. One of my sisters only wears skirts also and several years ago, she introduced me to a company that carries some of the most gorgeous, modest denim skirts I have ever seen. You cannot buy in Walmart what this company carries because they are so beautiful and affordable too.

Style J is a company that manufactures modest denim skirts for women. They also carry maternity skirts (which I didn't know!). Several years ago, my sisters gave me a Style J denim skirt for Christmas and I wore it everywhere. It is made very well and I always get asked where I bought it. In fact, the other day we were Christmas shopping and all of the ladies in our group (myself, my sisters and sister-in-law) were wearing Style J skirts. As we were crossing a parking lot, a large SUV pulled up beside us and the driver asked us where we get our beautiful skirts. So, for this review I was sent the Gorgeous Darling Long Jean Skirt. I was very excited about this skirt because it has some really cute details on it and I was excited to have a new skirt for Christmas.

I just love the pockets on the front and back...they are fringed with small studs accenting the seams. This particular skirt contains 2% spandex so it is a bit stretchy, which is good. I like a little "give" with my clothes as it makes them more comfortable. The hem is also fringed, which adds a nice touch.

This Gorgeous Darling Long Jean Skirt is the perfect length for me...it goes right to the floor but I don't trip on it. I also like how it has a white-washed look to it where it goes down the front of my legs. It looks great!

My son was super clingy when I tried this skirt on so that is why he is in the pictures. As you can see, it is very modest...it doesn't cling to my body and gives me plenty of length. I tend to prefer darker colored skirts so this is a great color also. One thing you need to know about Style J is to make sure you check the way they size their skirts. The skirt I am wearing is a size 42...I typically am a size 18-20. So, that is what I mean. Make sure you go by their sizing when you order from them. 

Style J's skirts also come in other materials too, not just denim. If you are looking for a professional office skirt or a fun skirt for a little girl, Style J carries those too! I also am really interested in their denim maternity skirts...they have my size and they are soooo feminine! Maternity clothes can be hard to find so it is good to know that they carry those.
