A Quick Weight Loss Update

Well folks, I am still plugging along here. I am still losing weight and am LOVING how I am looking and feeling. It has not been easy, but I am working towards a big goal and know that I can do it. I don't really have a program that I am following, I am just cutting out most of my sweets and only eating one helping of food at each meal. Drinking alot of water has also helped to flush alot of toxins and bloating away. Occasionally I will splurge on a special treat but I make sure I get right back on track.
Food wise I am loving salads. My mother in law introduced me to a really great salad topping called Salad Fixins at our local wholesale club and it tastes marvelous on my salad (I also like to grab a handful to munch on as a snack...so healthy!)! Salad and carrot sticks is what I typically eat for lunch and I also make sure that I am getting some form of protein with my salad. Passing on the cookies, cakes, breads and fatty foods has really made a big difference as well.
I was looking through some pictures from Christmas and found a picture of myself which was from before I started to lose weight...oh my. I then looked at a picture I took today and wow!! I am so pleased. It is one thing to lose weight but it is another thing to see the difference!! To date, I have lost 21 pounds and am looking to lose about 19 more. I am halfway there!! Whoop whoop! :)

So, if you are trying to lose weight, don't give up!! If I can do what I have done then you can do it too. I will try to keep you all updated as things progress and hopefully, I will make it to my goal! :)
