Make it a Sweet Morning With Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Cereal

I have always been a huge cereal fan. When I was growing up, my five siblings and I consumed alot of cereal, between breakfast and snacks, we should have invested stock in cereal! :) We were really into the sugary cereals but our mom wasn't. She would mix non-sugary cereals with similar sugary cereals and honestly, it wasn't that bad. Now that I am a mom, my children share my love for cereal. Isaac had a difficult time digesting cow's milk through my milk so I had to stop eating cereal for a little bit. He has since shown improvement and I am slowly incorporating milk back into my diet. That means one thing...I can eat cereal again! :)

Because I am a BzzAgent I get the opportunity to try out different products and today, I have a really yummy cereal to share (not literally...because it won't be around very long!) with you all! Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Cereal is a sweet and nutty cereal that will give your morning the little perk it needs...ensuring a happy morning! So, for this review I was sent a box of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal in the Golden Honey Nut flavor. I was very excited to try this cereal because I am able to actually eat cereal again and knew that Kellogg's is a fantastic brand. Not to mention I love honey nut flavors!!

I read on the box that there is a nutty flavor in each bit and didn't believe it until I saw the flakes themselves. Each flake actually had real peanut particles and pieces on them! The flavor of this cereal is wonderful...each bite just bursts with sweetness and rich nutty flavors. I loved it so much, I had to have my husband try it as well.

He took one bite and then came out to the kitchen to get his OWN bowl full...ha ha! I thought that was a great testimony as to how yummy this cereal really is. He typically does not eat cereal unless it is doused in sugar, or is a cocoa krispy variety. Sooo, I was thrilled that he actually loved it too! I also loved how this cereal stays crunchy and doesn't turn soggy when mixed with milk. I HATE soggy cereal and loved how well this cereal did under the milky influence. :)

Beat Wintertime Nasal Congestion with Afrin No Drip!

Well, the cold weather is upon us and winter is about to begin officially. I cannot believe that we are out of fall, past Thanksgiving and 2 1/2 WEEKS AWAY from CHRISTMAS!! This has been a really nice season for us here in NY and we have been enjoying some warmer days. Just the other day I was outside with my two older children and we were cleaning up the outdoor toys in the backyard...it was gorgeous. There were no heavy coats needed, just sweatshirts and that was wonderful!! Well, as always, I am having some issues with seasonal congestion and in the past, I have just suffered through it. Not any more...I am sticking up for myself against this icky congestion!

Today, I am going to take just a few minutes to tell you about Afrin No Drip...a nasal decongestant that works really well to clear and relieve cold and allergy congestion. As a BzzAgent, I have been given the opportunity to review this product and share it with you! Hopefully it will be of interest to you and will be something that will help you feel better this holiday season.

So, for this review I was sent a bottle of Afrin No Drip to try out. I truly wish I had this when I was expecting my son. I had an awful cold and could take nothing for it. Obviously, I would need to check with my doctor to see if it would have been OK to take while pregnant but this would have helped me immensely.

This nasal spray does not drip down your throat and stays where the congestion is. I haven't used nasal sprays regularly in the past prior to this review, although I have tried them from time to time. I would say that I like the concept of using a nasal spray as opposed to taking a pill as it targets the congestion right where it is.

I will say that Afrin No Drip works very well on me...although the taste is awful. I had a bitter taste in the back of my throat for about 10 minutes after using and that was just with one spray in each nostril. It is recommended that you use 2-3 sprays. All you do is grasp the bottle as shown above, then insert the tip into your nostril. Before you use it for the first time, prime the pump firmly several times. Keeping your head straight, depress the rim and sniff deeply. That's it! Relief is THERE!

Like I said, it cleared my congestion up almost instantly and I felt much better. I didn't care for the taste but if it means my head is clearer, it is worth it! Holiday Gift Guide ~ COVERGIRL Blast Flipstick Review & Giveaway

I am a huge fan of lip gloss...not so much lipstick because it can be dry and hard to apply. Trying new beauty products is something that I love and because I am a BzzAgent, I get the opportunity to try some of these amazing products. I have always loved giving lipstick-type gifts for people as stocking stuffers because they are small and compact and fit nicely into small crevices for those of us who have odd-shaped stockings. :) Growing up, we had stockings that looked like the full-body long johns, with sleeves and footies. My mom was able to put all sorts of odd shaped gifts into our stockings because of this and chapstick was always a must (typically I found mine in the arm or foot of my stocking).

Today, I am going to introduce you to a wonderful lipstick from COVERGIRL that is going to amaze and impress you. I had never heard of these prior to this campaign so I was really interested in receiving them for review!

So, for this review I was sent several COVERGIRL Blast Flipsticks to try. The colors I was sent are: Minx (copper & brown), Vixen (mauve & rose) and Stunner (reddish & burnt orange).

These Flipsticks are very cool...they are double ended so you have your two colors on one stick. You are able to twist the ends as well to get the lipstick longer too in case it wears down. The clear caps enable you to see which color you want to use before opening as well.

I love how the applicator is small and angled so you can neatly apply the lipstick. It always has bothered me that most lipsticks are wide and if you aren't careful, makes you look like you applied your lipstick with a child's elbow. These are great to use and perfectly shaped.

So, because I love pink and browns look terrible on me, I chose to try the Vixen Blast Flipstick. First, I applied the creamy shade and then over that, I applied the shimmery shade. It really made my lips "pop" nicely but not so much that they were blinding. I was also surprised at how creamy this lipstick felt...I think the final shimmery coat really helped lock in the moisture and hold the color for a long time. I definitely would wear this alot though as it lasts long and doesn't come off easily. I applied it once this morning and it is still on now...almost 6 hours later.

Of course, I could NOT use this lipstick without my daughter wanting in on the fun. So, I put a little on her just so she could feel like a princess for a little bit. She LOVED it and kept her lips in a puckered position for  quite a while...it was pretty cute. I will say that normally, she does not wear lipstick. She is four, and doesn't need to look like a model. For today though, I let her wear a little so she felt special.

So, for this review, I was sent a full sized bag of Cinnamon Brown Sugar Popcorn and two snack-sized bags of popped chips. 

My children were begging for a snack this morning several hours after breakfast so I thought it would be the perfect time to break out the Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Popcorn for them. They LOVE anything sweet and that is just what this popcorn is...a sweet and satisfying snack. The first thing that I love about the popcorn is that the bag is resealable. I hate opening an brand new bag of chips and having to find something to close the bag with when I am done. Stale chips are nasty so I love the fact that I can re-close this big bag of popcorn to keep it fresh!

This is some of the best popcorn I have had in a long time. Each piece of popcorn is loaded with cinnamon and brown sugar, the flavor is simply amazing! Typically, my children will eat popcorn, but not as quickly as they devoured this kind from Smartfood Selects. :) 

As you can see, they loved their popcorn!! Each was finished with their dish in several minutes and if I hadn't stopped them, they would have helped themselves to more. I had to stop though so they wouldn't ruin their lunch. 

While the children were eating their cinnamon brown sugar popcorn, I decided to try the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips. Ooooo...were these ever GOOD! There is just enough flavor to make them yummy without being overwhelmed with garlic and basil. The popped, hummus-based chips are amazing...so crunchy and light...just perfect for an afternoon snack!

Experience Premium Home Fragrances with Glade Expressions

We are in the process of selling our house. No buyers yet, but we have had lots of activity and showings. Yesterday was our first open house and it went well! Because we are selling, we are also looking for a new house and one thing that I always notice when I walk into a house is how it smells. I have a really good "sniffer" and can tell right away if the home has any pets or smokers or if it is not cleaned well. Any experience that I have had with Glade in the past has been positive and I trust the brand to always give me the best in home fragrance.

When I heard that they had come out with a new line of home fragrances, I was very excited and hurried right to the store to get my products. I am not thrilled with our local Walmart when it comes to selection of ANYTHING and of course, they were pretty much out of the fragrance mists. I didn't even see the diffusers anywhere. Soo, I headed over to Target and found exactly what I needed! I picked two fragrance mist starter kits...the Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice and the Cotton & Italian Mandarin. I also grabbed a Fuji Apple & Cardamom Oil Diffuser Starter Kit. What I loved about trying to decide what fragrance I would like the best was the fact that you could lift a tab on the top of the oil diffuser package to get a whiff of the fragrance. This is KEY for me when deciding what fragrance is best for me.

The Cotton & Italian Mandarin Fragrance Mist is AWESOME. It is delicate and light and not overpowering. My daughter smelled it in the bathroom and wanted to know what smelled so good. I laughed and told her that I had some nice spray that I had used. She thought it was great! Hubby thought it was too strong, but I didn't at all. I found myself spritzing a bit here and there throughout the house because I loved the smell so much! All you do is squeeze the top of the container and the mist comes out. You can also refill the holder with any mist scent you would like and it is simple to do.

I was also really impressed with the Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice Oil Diffuser. Not only does it look modern, contemporary and stylish, it also smells fantastic. I like simple and I love easy and that was exactly what it was like to assemble this diffuser.

 

You take the fragrance card (shown above) and press it into the vial containing the oil. Keep pressing until you hear a "click". Once the card is in place, the diffuser is ready to use!

Place anywhere in your home and within minutes, your house will be fragranced beautifully! I put mine in the living room and it smells so warm and inviting. Definitely adds some pleasant ambiance to whatever room it is in. With fall right around the corner, this fragrance would be my choice for my home.

Not only can you choose from the Cotton & Italian Mandarin and Fuji Apple & Cardamom scents, you can also choose from Lavender & Juniper Berry and Pineapple & Mangosteen! You definitely have options and after trying the two scents that I tried, I want to try the others now! The oil diffuser starter kits retail for about $4.00 and the fragrance mist started kits will cost you about $2.00, which I think is very reasonable. Also, the diffuser will last for up to 30 days and takes no batteries and does not need to be plugged it.

So, in my opinion...the Glade Expressions Fragrances are WONDERFUL! I am really loving the Cotton & Italian Mandarin mist and it works very well for my bathroom. The Oil Diffuser is incredibly aromatic and I love how it makes my living room smell. Dentyne Split2Fit Gum Review & Giveaway

For as long as I can remember, I have loved gum. I remember my mom having some really good tasting gum with her all the time. She had a disease that caused muscle paralysis in her face so chewing gum after she recovered helped build back up her muscle tone. So, I was always trying to get a piece from her. She always had sugar-free gum which was better for us so she didn't mind sharing.

I am sure you have all heard of the gum brand Dentyne and it has been a favorite of mine. Because I am a BzzAgent, I get the opportunity to share new products with you and today, I will be introducing you to Dentyne's brand new Split2Fit packaging! Before I continue, here is a bit more about the new Split2Fit Dentyne Gum..

Because I like to chew gum, I decided to take on this campaign and check out the all new Split2Fit Dentyne Ice!

So, for this review I was sent some Split2Fit to try out and see just how easy it really is to split a pack of gum...something I have never tried to do before! Because I love to share, I was curious as to how this would work. Is is convenient? Is it trendy? Is it practical? Well, here are my thoughts.

First of all, the the gum package opens like a book. There is a bit of adhesive that holds it together if you don't want to split it and also that keeps it closed if you keep it as one package.

Should you decide to share with a friend, or down-size the package so it will fit compactly into a purse, pocket or diaper bag, you can separate it down the middle. I know that having a large pack of gum can be bulky so having this option is fantastic!

What I don't like? The wording on the packaging and photos that I have seen on their Facebook page. I don't like the sexual innuendos that are presented by Dentyne...especially the phrase "practice safe breath" (this was just one of many that I ran across while perusing the Dentyne website). This I find unnecessary and inappropriate...especially when you are talking about something as simple as a pack of gum. That is my honest opinion and as a born-again Christian, I don't like it at all.

Other than that, I love the flavors that I was sent (spearmint, arctic chill and peppermint), the wonderful taste it leaves in my mouth and the fresh breath that I have after chewing Dentyne Ice for a while! I also love the way I can  easily divide a pack to make it smaller. It is very good gum but I am not sure that I want to support Dentyne after seeing what I have seen from their company in their marketing.

So, in my opinion...Dentyne Split2Fit Gum is wonderful! I don't care for the marketing standards set forth by the company but the gum itself is very refreshing.
