Zim's Naturally-Based Products Review & Giveaway

Can you believe we are in August already??? My lands...it seems like we were just getting out the summer clothes and opening the windows to get all the stuffy winter air out of the house. Like it or not, summer will be soon drawing to a close and we will be in the winter months once again. Summer time calls for loads of projects...especially for us. We have officially been in our new house for 6 months now and when we first moved in, I compiled a list of projects that we need/would like to have done. One of the projects that we wanted to complete was to make the bonfire pit more eye-appealing and functional. That project entailed a lot of digging and moving of dirt...something that was very back-breaking for my hubby. Aches and pains just seem to come with work and taking care of our bodies should be a priority-although it is neglected most of the time.
Today, I am going to introduce you to a company that is totally new to me, yet is truly a wonderful company! Zim's Naturally-Based Products was first founded over 60 years ago by a pharmacist in Austintown, Ohio. His concern for cement worker's skin led him to create an all-natural, herbal liquid that was soon known as "Cement Workers' Lotion". Here is a bit more about this company and what they offer...

Zim's® started over 60 years ago with the creation of Zim's Crack Creme® by a pharmacist in Austintown, Ohio.

Today, the Zim's® brand has expanded to over 25 products ranging from lotions and cremes to pain relief gels and diabetic care items. The Zim's Max-Freeze® brand provides an affordable topical pain relief gel that emphasizes the use of natural ingredients such as Ilex Flower and Aloe Vera.

Zim's® continues to offer exceptional naturally-based products from a small town in Ohio.

Having never heard of Zim's before, I was really interested in their products and was also wanting to find out if their Crack Creme would work on my feet, which are really dry right now.
So, for this review I was sent Zim's Crack Creme and Zim's Max-Freeze for muscles and joints. My husband has been dealing with some pretty severe pain in one of his fingers and even after two surgeries, is still suffering. He has tried different hot/cold/icy products on his finger and they help...but not to the extent that he would like. So, that was another reason I wanted to try out Zim's...to see if it would help my hubby with his pain issues.
Zim's Max-Freeze smells like a muscle rub because it contains Menthol. It is a topical analgesic formula designed to deliver temporary relief to aching muscles and joints. As soon as my package arrived from Zim's I immediately gave the tube to my hubby so he could put some on his finger. I will say that we are fairly certain that he is dealing with nerve pain and we weren't certain that this product would help. Well, it must have done something good for him because the other evening he was asking me where the tube of "freeze stuff" was as he said it helped his finger. That made me SO happy! :) Zim's Max-Freeze is good for muscle pain and strains, back, shoulder and neck sprains and any other bone/joint pain that you experience. I don't typically use products like these because hubby does all the difficult work around here but now and then I wake up with a stiff neck and this is exactly what I reach for. Zim's Max-Freeze features:

-Certified Organic Ilex
-Certified Organic Arnica
-Certified Organic Aloe
-No Parabens, Synthetic Fragrance, Sulfates, Paraffins, DEA, Petrolatum, or Mineral Oil

It is also non-greasy and doesn't stain. I love this product and will definitely be handing it over to hubby for his use (and borrowing it when I need it!).
Zim's Crack Creme is WONDERFUL. I use foot creams regularly and was interested to see how this stood up to the other brands that I use. In a word, fantastic. This formula is creamy and applies really easily. I love how you can use it on different areas of your body, not just your feet.
As you can see, you can use it on your hands, feet, elbows, knees and cuticles. Having one product that takes care of different areas is really handy...especially since I use different creams for different areas. Crack Creme is soft, easy to apply and non-greasy.
Zim's Crack Creme smells like an herbal product, definitely. I put a generous amount on my heels and let it soak in for a few minutes. Then, I was off doing dishes and fixing lunch for my little ones. I noticed right away that it was not greasy because I wasn't sliding all over the floor. Having something like this that absorbs quickly is great...especially since I don't have a lot of time to sit and let it absorb. I noticed that my scratchy heels were softer than before and also, that they were smooth and didn't catch on the carpet or my slippers. WONDERFUL! I will definitely be using this on a regular basis to help combat my dry feet. Also, when winter comes, I am looking forward to using Zim's Crack Creme on my hands as they get super dry in the winter months.

Zim's Crack Creme retails for $3.99 and Zim's Max-Freeze (tube) retails for $9.99. You can find Zim's products at Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers across the country. Zim's can also be found on Facebook as well as Twitter so be sure you stop by and visit them there too.
So, in my opinion...I am so grateful to have "met" Zim's. I truly believe that my family and I will benefit from their products and I am thrilled to have found yet another company that focuses on using natural ingredients to treat daily aches and pains. I would definitely recommend Zim's to anyone...visit them today and become acquainted with the natural way to treat your infirmities!

Zim's has offered to giveaway either a tube of Max-Freeze OR Crack Creme to one of you! The winner will have their choice of product.  Here are your entry options...
