Foot Kinetics Review & Giveaway

I am NOT a sock person. I hate having my feet enclosed in anything and at night, I hang my feet outside of the blankets. My feet have recently become very calloused and rough (I think the reason is because I wear flip flops and go sock-free year round). I have tried just about everything on them and have really been disappointed with the results. My heels have become cracked and that is also very concerning to me as well. My doctor told me that if calluses are not properly treated, you can get painful infections...which is not what I want!! All of these "symptoms" are a result of dry feet and feet that have been exposed to the elements. I am about to go see a Podiatrist to have some of my calluses removed but before I do that, I wanted to try out some new products to see if any would help.
Today, I am going to introduce you to Foot Kinetics. I found this company while searching for solutions for cracked heels and right away, I was very interested in what they have to offer. What really caught my eye was the names of their products. Have you ever heard of WalkGoo? If you are like me, then no, you haven't...not until today!

Before I continue, here is a bit more about Foot Kinetics...

Our protective creams for walking, running and hiking are good for feet, reduce blisters and calluses, moisturize dry feet and cracked heels and relieve sore feet. Athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, military personnel, charity walk-a-thon participants, construction and industrial workers, teachers, nurses and active moms can have better foot health by using Foot Kinetics™ protective foot care creams.

Feet sweat & swell and even the best footwear does not fit everyone perfectly under all conditions. The related friction and pressure cause blisters, calluses, nerve abrasion and sore feet. Good fitting footwear, technical socks and attempting to keep feet dry help, but are not enough to provide all day protection while hiking, running, playing sports, working out, or on the job.

The best you can do for your feet is to use Foot Kinetics’ foot care creams to create a protective layer between your skin and sock that reduces rubbing, friction, blisters and calluses protecting skin from damage and nerve abrasion while moisturizing dry feet and cracked heels.

After reading this, I was very interested. My feet sure do take a beating and being the busy momma that I am, I am on my feet all day long. It is quite amazing that such a small area can support our whole body weight! It's no wonder we get calluses.
So, for this review I was sent two tubes of Foot Kinetics Cream...I was sent WalkGoo and SilkStep. I was very excited to try these products and see what they would do for my sad feet.
The first tube I tried was the SilkStep. This cream is very thick, almost like a butter consistency. There is absolutely no scent at all either. This cream is designed to create a barrier of protection for your skin. It softens calluses and helps with foot fatigue. You are probably asking why that is important. Well, keeping your feet in good condition prevents pain and unwanted skin conditions. Your feet are VITAL to your well-being so taking care of them is imperative.
The applicators on all of Foot Kinetic's products are really cool as they have massaging bumps that help spread the cream evenly and give your feet a bit of pampering at the same time. The only down side to this is that alot of cream gets stuck in between the bumps so you need to scoop it out with your fingers so none gets wasted.
All you need to do to use this cream is to apply a thick layer to your feet...focusing on problem areas like your heels, pads of the toes, etc. My problem is my heels so that is where I applied the most. I used the SilkStep at night before bed and carefully put a pair of socks on over the cream so it would not rub off. When I woke up in the morning, I was astonished. My feet were much softer and the cracks were not sharp and catching on things. I literally said "wow"! It was quite a difference from the dry and scaly skin that I was used to seeing.
WalkGoo
WalkGoo is similar to SilkStep and the only real difference is what you do while wearing it (and the ingredients, of course). It is perfect for those of you who like to walk alot and are on your feet at work for most of your day. I tried the WalkGoo for an entire day and experienced the same effect that I did with the SilkStep. My feet literally felt revitalized! Another great reason to use this is that it is non-greasy foot cream and quick to absorb into the skin. I loved that my hands weren't greasy after applying the cream.
Along with WalkGoo and SilkStep, Foot Kinetics also sells HikeGoo and RunGoo. I don't think I need to explain what those are for as the names speak for themselves. :) WalkGoo retails for $9.99 or $24.99 depending on which size tube you want. SilkStep costs $10.99 for a starter size and $26.99 for a full sized tube. You can buy online or find a store near you that sells Foot Kinetics.

So, in my opinion...Foot Kinetics is a fantastic company! I am really happy with how my feet have felt and looked after using their foot creams. The potential of how my feet can continue to improve is very exciting and I am looking forward to continuing my TLC routine on my feet. I would definitely recommend Foot Kinetics to anyone who lives a busy life...whether you are a stay at home mom or an outdoors person, taking care of your feet is vital and Foot Kinetics has what you need to do just that.
Foot Kinetics has offered to give away a large tube of the winner's choice of cream. This is a fantastic giveaway and one that is PERFECT for sandal and flip flop weather! Here are your entry options...
