Belli Skin Care Review & Giveaway {US & Canada}

So, 7 weeks ago on Monday I gave birth to our third baby. I cannot believe that my little guy is almost two months old already! He is probably my easiest baby yet and is sooooooooooo good! Don't be jealous now, but he sleeps for 6 hour stretches at night. WOW. I was floored the first time he did it and even more so when he continued. NONE of my children ever slept like that and believe me, I appreciate it and count it a huge blessing to be able to sleep at night! Here's a recent picture of him...isn't he a handsome fella?
Anyway, back to my original thought here. Ever since I began having children my body has changed. Not to get too personal here, but my belly is saggy and my breasts don't look anything like they did 4 years ago. I was telling a friend of mine about how great it would be to be able to fit into my wedding dress again. Good news is I CAN zip it to my chest level. The bad news is that I can't go any farther. Nope, can't do it and man would I love to wear it again!! Pregnancy does quite a number on the body (in case you moms out there haven't noticed) and unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to reverse the effects. I would have to say that it IS worth it though...look at all the cute babies I have to show for it!
Well, recently I happened across a company that can help us moms feel better about our bodies and they offer many products to aid in improving the evidence left by pregnancy and having a new baby.
Belli is a company that was founded by a man named Jason P. Ruben, M.D., and his objective was to create a skin product for new mothers that would not harm them or their new babies. Here is a bit more of his story...

In 2002, Dr. Rubin and his wife Annette created the Belli Pregnancy collection to pamper mother's skin in luxurious comfort while also protecting her baby. Concerned about the risk of chemicals absorbing through the skin and into the bloodstream during pregnancy, he developed Belli's exclusive teratology screening process, which searches through millions of published medical research studies to help women avoid ingredients even remotely linked to birth defects. Dr. Rubin's higher pregnancy safety standards are recommended by OB-Gyn physicians across the country.

In 2006, the Rubins created the Belli Motherhood collection with LACT-MED database screening to help women avoid ingredients linked to harmful effects while breastfeeding. And in 2007, they introduced the beloved Belli Baby collection which avoids xenoestrogens, and features only the purest ingredients for delicate skin.

As Belli's medical director, Dr. Rubin oversees all safety screening and efficacy claims.  Working together with a team of other experts  (obstetrician, dermatologist, teratologist), he guides Belli's chemists in the creation of each unique product. He also writes a series of educational articles that teach women about the skin care changes of pregnancy/motherhood, and the best care and cleansing routines for their babies.

I think it is so awesome that a company like this exists. When you think about all the beauty products that new moms use, it is concerning to think that most of those products are probably not safe for the baby.
So, for this review I was sent several of the Belli products to try and these come from their Motherhood line. I was sent the Body Bounce Back Kit and the Eye Brightening Cream. I was so excited to try these out (and so was my body!)!
The Body Bounce Back Kit contains two products, Body Firming Serum and Stretchmark Minimizing Cream. (I don't know about you but I am simply in love with the bottles...aren't they elegant?).
The Stretchmark Minimizing Cream smells amazing and I was impressed with how creamy and smooth it was. I applied it to my stomach and also to my hips...the major stretchmark areas on my body.  This cream is designed to decrease the appearance of stretchmarks, whether you got them from pregnancy or not. So this would be an idea product for anyone...not just mommies! :)
The Body Firming Serum is also a really great-smelling product. Containing Marine Proteins, Shiitake Mushroom and Pumpkin Seedcake, this particular Belli product helps to lift and firm your breasts, buttocks and abdomen. The formula is designed to improve body tone and suppleness, which is very helpful. I really liked this serum because it was not at all greasy, and absorbed into my skin quickly. I cannot stand greasy products!
Finally, I tried the Eye Brightening Cream. Honestly, I have never been a fan of products that claim to brighten your eyes because I have tried them and they don't do anything. However, this particular cream did make a difference in my eyes. Being a new mom who is up multiple times a night, my eyes can look really sleepy and tired the next day. When I tried this cream it was really neat how it masked my dark circles. It is kind of shimmery and really silky too. All that you need to do is dab a bit under your eyes and it helps to mask those "I've-got-a-new-baby" eyes.

All of Belli's beauty products are LACTMED screened to avoid any ingredients that may be harmful when passed through breast milk...which I love. Being a breastfeeding mom, I am very careful about what I eat and drink so my baby stays happy. This is the one main reason that I love Belli.

Each of the above-mentioned products can be purchased directly from Belli's website. The Body Bounce Back Kit retails for $69.99 and the Eye Brightening Cream retails for $37.00.
So, in my opinion...Belli is a fantastic company! I love the motherhood products that I received for this review and I also love the fact that they are safe for my baby. You don't often find a company like Belli that takes breastfeeding moms into consideration when creating their beauty products and that means a lot to me. I would highly recommend this company to any mom out there who wants to give her body a little extra TLC. Believe me...we all need a little boost sometimes!

Belli has offered to giveaway a Body Bounce Back Kit and Eye Brightening Cream to one of my readers! This is a fabulous giveaway and one that I am so thrilled to be able to offer you all. Here are your easy entry options...
