For this review I was sent a pair of Fireman Rain Boots for my son. I usually get review products for Hannah so I thought that this time it would be fun for Jacob to get something fun. Not to mention he is always wearing his sister's shoes...time for a pair that he can call his own and that are all boy!

These Fireman Rain Boots are so cute, I just love the character in them. There are orange flames shooting up from the bottoms and also from the top. One thing though, make sure your child doesn't pull the flames sticking out of the top of the boots. One of them ripped right off the first time Jacob pulled on them. I guess they are not meant to be pulled on although they look like they are.

The wheels that are painted on the sides of the boots are so cute too, they look just like real firetruck wheels! I just love the detail.

As soon as Jacob got up from his nap I showed him his new boots. He wanted to wear them immediately and I was so excited to see him in them. They fit him perfectly (his feet are HUGE...size 9) and he LOVED them. Just look at his face...my little man is tickled with his fireman boots!

After wearing them for a few minutes I DARED to suggest that we take them off and put them away. Noooo, that was NOT an option. He wore those boots for the rest of the day. Anytime we go out for a walk he has to have his Fireman Rain Boots on. The other night he was in the backyard and was wearing his boots in the sandbox. Yep, you guessed it. Those boots were FULL of sand when he came in afterwards. Wow. You just never know how much a boy will love his boots until he wears them in the sandbox! Cult Natural Baby Skin Care Products Review & Giveaway

My son Isaac has been a dream baby from day one. He is so perfect and fits in our family so well, we are very blessed! He is now 16 weeks old (wow!) and I have come to learn so much about him. I am now figuring out what his different cries mean, what time he likes to go to sleep, how he likes to be held, which toys he favors and how often he dirties his diapers. So, for his review I was sent My Honey Shampoo & Bath, My Honey Massage Oil and My Honey Barrier Cream. I just love the soft colors used in the labeling and packaging...this would make a gorgeous baby gift!

Bath time is always a fun and relaxing time for Isaac and I was excited to try these products on him! When I bathe my babies, I always wash their hair first. So, the first Mirabelle product I tried was the My Honey Shampoo & Bath. This shampoo contains Manuka Honey, Orange Oil and Aloe as it's main ingredients and smells so great. It is also non-irritating to the eyes. My son's cradle cap is really flaky so I just worked the shampoo into his scalp with a soft brush. After rinsing his hair I washed his body and really loved how the soap made a nice lather.

When I took Isaac in to get his pajamas on after his bath, I applied the My Honey Barrier Cream to his bottom, focusing on his cute little folds. Diaper rashes are no fun and so preventing them is key! This cream is light, creamy, non-greasy and contains Manuka Honey, Aloe Vera, Sweet Almond Oil, chamomile and vitamin E. I also tried some of this cream on his eczema and it definitely helped it look less inflamed.

To finish off Isaac's after-bath routine, I gave him a nice massage using the My Honey Massage Oil. Oh my goodness. If you could smell this oil you would be totally in love. Yes, it is oil and so it is greasy. BUT, it absorbs quickly and softened Isaac's skin wonderfully. This massage oil contains Calendula Oil and Sweet Almond Oils. Calendula kind of has a floral scent...simply gorgeous and perfect for pampering my baby!

Ahhh summer. I love the weather, the picnics, the fun in the water and most of all, I LOVE summer foods! It seems like there are endless options when it comes to snacking but it seems like most of the foods are so unhealthy. While I love to snack, I hate the calories and fat that normally come with snacks so I am usually on the lookout for healthier options. I have heard of New York Style before and I think I have tried them but it has been awhile. Tasting new snacks is always fun and because I have done so many snack reviews, it is hard to decide exactly what my favorite snack is! :) I think after conducting this review I have a new favorite...these chips are delightfully amazing!!

So, for this review I was sent a nice box of New York Style Bagel Chips and Bagel Crisps. I was sent Garlic and Sea Salt Bagel Crisps, as well as BBQ, Cheddar, Garlic and Sea Salt Bagel Chips.

The first bag that I opened was the New York Style Bagel Crisps in Sea Salt flavor. I love the taste of sea salt and because I loved the idea that these crisps are baked and not fried, I was excited to try them out. The flavor is so fantastic. These crisps are super crunchy and very satisfying. It is the type of snack that you can put out in a small dish on the counter and grab a few crisps as you walk by. (I did that yesterday...as did my children.) You can also use these for dipping, adding to salads and also for an easy appetizer. Because they come in different flavors, you definitely have options.

Next, I tried the New York Style Bagel Chips in the BBQ flavor. I am a fan of barbecue flavored chips and so I was really interested to see how these tasted. I was really impressed with the bold and tangy taste of these little bagel chips. They are sooo cute! My children loved them as well. The best part was that they were not too spicy and therefore they did not bother my breastfed 15 week old. YAAAY!!! Finally, a BBQ chip that I can actually enjoy without worrying about my baby. :)

Calm Your Pets with Comfort Zone!

I have always grown up with cats. My parents had barn cats and we as children always loved to see the new babies that would be born each spring. Now that I am married, my husband is deathly allergic to cats so we don't have any. My sister on the other hand, has always loved cats and has had two since she has been a homeowner. Her cats are very cute and cuddly...at least one of them is. Milo and Midas are her two cats and she has had them since kittens. She adopted them from our local SPCA and has raised them and loves them to pieces. Recently, her one cat has been very jittery. She always has construction going on at her house and is renovating. The construction workers scared Milo once and that poor cat has not been the same since. Whenever I go over to her house to visit, Milo is no where to be found. He runs and hides and does not come out at all. He is probably smart to hide as my two toddlers love to chase them around. :) Poor Milo has been a nervous wreck for quite a while now and I feel badly for my sister.

For this review I was sent a Comfort Zone with Feliway Diffuser, some refills and also a Comfort Zone with Feliway Spray. Because I don't have a cat, I headed right over to my sister's house so she could check out these products.

Everyone, meet Midas. He is spunky, full of energy and just loves my children. I was unable to get a picture of Milo as he was hiding at the time. My sister takes very good care of her cats and you can tell that they love her!

First, we plugged in the Diffuser. All you need to do is to screw the diffuser into a bottle and then plug into an outlet. You want to make sure you place the diffuser into a room in which your cat is alot. What this product does is helps cats and kittens to not be stressed out when you change their environment or the layout of their space (moving, furniture rearrangement, etc.). This Comfort Zone product also helps to eliminate nasty urine marking and scratching that comes as a result of stress.

The Comfort Zone with Feliway Spray is made to directly apply onto furniture or any surface that you don't want scratched or peed on. My sister tried this spray on a piece of lawn furniture that her cats had been scratching and she noticed that they stayed away from it completely. She LOVED this!

I will also note that my sister fosters kittens for the SPCA and that kittens are typically really scared and hyper-active when she first brings them home. On one occasion, two kittens that she had totally ransacked a room that she had them in...peeing and pooing all over the floor. She tried the Comfort Zone with Feliway Diffuser in that room with the next two kittens that she got and they were fantastic! No stress and no messes.

Baby Butz Cream Review & Giveaway

If there is one thing about having a baby that I do not like, it is the constant annoyance of baby skin conditions. My daughter really struggled with Eczema and that is finally starting to go away. My two year old son has always been prone to diaper rashes and my newborn has cradle cap and face rashes. Ugg. Having children has sure caused me to do my research on sensitive skin and cures for skin problems! But, through my extensive research I have found so many helpful hints and products, I now feel adequate to handle just about anything. Diaper rashes tend to be the most bothersome issues for babies (from my experience) because they occur in sensitive areas and are often very painful if left untreated. I remember one time my son had a dirty diaper and for some odd reason, I didn't realize it. When I changed him, he had been in it for about an hour and had developed a mean rash. It was one of those moments as a mom when I just felt so terrible and like I had failed him as a mother. After treating the rash with my usual diaper rash cream, he was much happier. I hate those kinds of rashes!!!

So, for this review I was sent several tubs of Baby Butz Cream to try on my children. The packaging is sooo cute for babies. That was what first caught my eye...I love the colors and the little turtle. This tub looks so great in my nursery.

Baby Butz Cream is 100% natural and 100% guaranteed. It really doesn't smell like anything at all, which is nice because I grew up around Desitin and that stuff stinks!! The ingredient list is: Zinc Oxide, Lanolin, Petrolatum, Starch. Pretty simple and totally natural! The texture of this cream is really different and something that I was not used to. It is VERY thick and dense which means you need very little. I tried out this cream on my son's bottom for several days and here is what I found. The cream stays on for a long time. I applied it at bedtime and even though his diaper was wet in the morning, his bottom was still dry and you could still see the cream. It kept him dry and comfortable, which I appreciated. Today, I did an experiment with Baby Butz as I heard that some have had it work on Eczema.

My 14 week old has had a mild rash on his face and it does not want to go away. So, I applied a very thin layer of Baby Butz Cream to it and by mid-afternoon, the redness was gone and tonight when I put him to bed, it was almost completely gone altogether! Sooo, I am really excited to use this again on him. Obviously, I was careful to not get it near his eyes and massaged it into his skin really well so there was little residue left.

Needless to say, I am definitely going to keep using Baby Butz Cream on my babies. I am also going to recommend it to other moms who have little ones. Diaper rashes are no fun and there is no need for babies and toddlers to suffer when there is a great product like this on the market.
