Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts Review & Giveaway {2 Winners}

Laundry...it multiplies. Doesn't it seem that as soon as you have washed a load that there is another load waiting to go into the washer? Having children seems to compound that problem, I have noticed. The other day, my two older children were playing outdoors when I spied my middle son walking past my patio door. He was covered in dirt...it was in his hair and from the top of his head to the bottoms of his feet, he was a walking dust ball. It. Was. Awful. Well, if there is one thing I have learned from having boys is that they are dirt magnets. Wherever they go, dirt just seems to find them. As he came in from playing, I stripped him before he had a chance to walk through the house and threw the clothes down the laundry chute. Then, it was right into the shower for him. Clothing around here just gets so filthy...I have to have good laundry detergent to rely on for deep cleaning and removing stains.

Wow...that is a nasty fact about the sweat glands in my feet...eeew! Nice to know though. I think. When it comes to my laundry detergent, I am pretty brand loyal. However, I do love to break away from the norm and try something new and I think I am on to something here.

So, for this review I was sent two bags of Wisk Deep Clean PowerBlasts to try. The day after they arrived it was laundry day here in our home so I set those babies to work!

What I love about these PowerBlasts is that the detergent is pre-measured into packets. This means no mess from spilled detergent and no over-measuring. I sometimes wonder just how much detergent I waste because of sloppy measuring. Those caps are nice but sometimes, I overfill and have the potential of wasting a significant amount of detergent.

So, to use this detergent all you do is toss one into the drum of your washing machine and these work in all machines...even HE Machines! The packet dissolves and the detergent is released into the water. These packets will even dissolve in cold water so it doesn't matter what temperature your water is, PowerBlasts will work!

I used this detergent with all of my laundry and was pleasantly surprised at how nice my laundry smelled. Typically, I am used to one specific scent but this was not hard to get used to. It made my clothes smell fresh and clean and I was happy to know that there was not any residual soap left in the clothing from using too much detergent. My children's clothing looked especially great...no dirt on them at all!!

A couple of things to keep in mind when using these PowerBlasts from Wisk:

• Dry your hands before handling them (or they will become activated and begin to dissolve from the moisture)
• Keep container sealed between uses (my bags are Ziploc closeable)
• Never place the PowerBlasts into the HE dispenser
• Regular Loads = 1 PowerBlasts
• Large or Heavily Soiled loads = 2 PowerBlasts
